Advanced Coating Technology (ACT)

ACT provides advanced coating systems for the thermal barrier protection of HPT (High Pressure Turbine) airfoils for both commercial and military engines. The joint venture was formed in 1992 and is owned equally by Chromalloy and Pratt & Whitney.

BELAC
BELAC is a joint venture company launched and owned by Chromalloy, Lufthansa Technik, United Airlines and Alitalia. BELAC provides airlines with high-quality, readily available, lower-cost alternatives to OEM HPT (High Pressure Turbine) blades. Founded in 1998, BELAC became the first company in aviation history to receive FAA PMA approval of an HPT blade. Today, BELAC designs, tests, certifies and produces approved HPT replacement blades. Through bi-lateral aviation safety agreements, all BELAC blades are approved by every major regulatory agency in the world. BELAC currently has more than 32,000 HPT blades in operation. TRT
TRT specializes in the repair of turbine blades and nozzle guide vanes for the Rolls-Royce RB211, Trent and Tay ranges of gas turbine engines. The joint venture was formed in 2000 and is owned equally by Chromalloy and Rolls-Royce. For more information, visit www.trt-ltd.com.

Turbine Surface Technologies Ltd.

Turbine Surface Technologies provides anti-corrosion and thermal barrier coatings for aero engine turbine components. The company, owned equally by Chromalloy and Rolls-Royce, was founded in 2000.
