CF6-80C2 1 ST Stage Blade
Chromalloy earned a PMA in March 2005 for its CF6-80C2 1ST Stage Blade. The part was developed at BELAC, a Chromalloy joint venture company. Cooling holes are EDM drilled and individually deburred to enhance fatigue life. Wall thickness is verified with CT to assure uniformity and design conformance. And extensive quality control from casting through coating assures tolerances meet or exceed requirements. More than 5,000 parts have been delivered to date.
