Description:
Currently, we are seeking qualified candidates for a Middle Manangement opening to join our Finance organization.
Day to Day:
To manage and control all financial and accounting activities, in order to ensure accurate accounting report and controlling system according to corporate accounting policies and compliance to relevant Thai Accounting Standard and tax law.
What you will do:
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Functional                                                       
  • Review, verifies for validity, and approves all financial and accounting report and payroll prepared by subordinates
  • Manage, monitor and control collection procedures and follow up on outstanding accounts.
  • Review and verifies Corporate Income Tax, withholding tax, VAT
  • Complies all Budget request and develop Annual budget in order to submit to MD and corporate
  • Manage and control forward foreign current management
  • Contact with local and oversea insurance company to claim for the damage and review insurance coverage for protection against property losses and potential liabilities
  • Deal with District Officer in real estate tax rate, sign board tax and amount
  • Monitor and review Inter-Company Statement
  • Consolidate actual sale, cost data and perform further business analysis as necessary to directors in terms of business report e.g. sale forecast report, Operating cost report, variance analysis and etc.
  • Manages and supervise the calculation of corporate income tax
  • Update and contact lawyer to ensure that all of company documents registration are up to date including other finance legal matter
  • Prepare and submit monthly , quarterly and year end financial reports to corporate according to their requirements
  • Internal control compliance (SOX)
  • Contact point for tax officers

2. Meetings                                                            
  • Conduct meeting with subordinates as required to follow up work progress and work related issues in order to ensure that works are performed according to plan.
  • Participate in the following meetings: 1. Monthly meeting with directors chaired by managing director to update work status against corporate plan and follow up general work issues. 2. Conference meeting with other Chromalloy Units for updating new Chromalloy accounting standard (once a year)
 
3. Plan and Implementation                             
Plan, implement and monitor all operational plans, e.g., budget planning, manpower planning, training plan, Improvement Program to ensure that overall Finance department objectives are met and consistency with long term corporate objectives and goals
 
4. Consultation / Coordination                       
Coordinate to provide related information and guidelines for internal and external party e.g., Financial data for other departments, related reports for Board of investment and Bank of Thailand, Revenue Department.
 
5. Auditing                                                   
Full responsiblity to answer and provide supporting information or document of financial department to all internal and external auditors as required for approval with Financial Accounting Standard, customers’ requirement and company procedures
 
6. Technical Documents                                  
Updated company technical documents in writing of new working procedures or technical knowledge and propose for approval to direct supervisor in order to agree upon new procedures or knowledge and be documented afterward
 
7. Human Resource Management                 
Responsible for human resource system within finance department, e.g., propose staff promotion, overtime approval, training and development plan, vacation approval, candidate interview in order to enhance and support company human resource policy and plan.
 
8. Supervision                                                      
Supervise and monitor overall daily operation of  subordinate in Finance Department including on the job training for new employee to ensure that works are performed according to the plan, within budget and complied with company and corporate financial standard requirement and procedure
 
9. Report                                                            
Summarize operation data and perform further business analysis as necessary to directors in terms of business report e.g. status report in order to monitor business progress and future plan
What you need to succeed:
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting
•   At least 10 years experience in Accounting, with CPA  would be advantage
•   Good Technical knowledge of Thai accounting standards, US GAAP, IFRS and Thai Taxes
•   Strong analytical skills
•   Solid experience in general and manufacturing accounting and familiar with multinational company
•   Enthusiastic, well-rounded with good interpersonal skills, able to work under pressure, positive thinking
•   Relevant experiences in stock control and reconciliation, VAT, WT filing and payroll system
•   Previously working in BOI prompted company is added advantage
•   Good command of written and spoken English and computer literacy with experience with ERP LN INFO would be advantage
