Description:
Currently, we are seeking qualified candidates for a opening to join our Quality organization.
Day to Day:
  • Responsible to the Quality Systems Manager for the overall status of the Calibration Laboratory.
What you will do:
  • Calibrate precision measurement and test equipment used in CCS processes and for final acceptance of product.
  • Verification of repaired or newly manufactured tooling and fixtures to blueprint requirements
  • Developing and documenting as new or revised, calibration procedures
  • Maintain calibration records
  • Establish and maintain the calibration recall system
  • Perform assessments of calibration vendors
  • Purchase all precision measurement and test equipment for CCS
  • Coordinate with engineering and quality for determining proper gaging and gage resolution requirements for product and tooling.
  • Report and distribute Calibration Due, Calibration Overdue and Notification of Instrument Error reports
     
What you need to succeed:
  • Read, interpret and understand technical calibration procedures and blueprints
  • Proficiency in the use of precision measuring instruments and standards.
  • Good organizational and planning skills
  • Ability to read, speak, write, understand and verbally express ideas and instructions in English.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with peers, subordinates, supervisors, management personnel, suppliers and customers
  • Machining, tool & die, inspection functions where the use of PME was utilized or calibration of PME
  • High school diploma or equivalent or Formal Certified Trade School.
  • Knowledge or experience in ISO 10012 or ANSI Z540-1 is a plus.

Certifications:
  • Any in the field of calibration are a plus
Experience:
  • Three years in any one of the following;
Machining, tool & die, inspection functions where the use of PME was utilized or calibration of PME
