RT-200 CBN Abrasive Tip
Chromalloy's RT-200 CBN Abrasive Tip was developed in 1997 and earned a United States patent in August 1999. Chromalloy engineers developed an underlying oxidation resistant bond coating that reduces blade tip erosion and improves repair yield. This coating has been proven in over 200,000 FAA DER repairs of 1st and 2nd stage HPT blades in PW2000, PW4000, V2500-A1 and V2500-A5/D5 engines.
