Chromalloy Names new Vice President for Industrial Gas Turbine Engine Sales
Chromalloy announced today that Pete Watson has been named Vice President for Industrial Gas Turbine (IGT) and Aero Derivative Sales, a growth area for the global turbine engine service, repair and parts company.
“Pete is a seasoned sales and business executive in the power generation industry and will be instrumental in leading the growth for our global IGT sales and business,” said Armand Lauzon, Jr., President. ”He will lead the IGT business and sales strategy, with the goal of reaching new customers and markets around the world.”
Watson is responsible for new business development and sales in the IGT segment, which includes gas turbines that are the primary energy systems for electrical power plants, cogeneration plants, offshore oil and natural gas platforms, and commercial and military ships. He brings more than 30 years of power generation industry experience to Chromalloy. Most recently he was Vice President at ProEnergy Services LLC, leading global operations and services, including overhaul and installation of aero derivative and heavy industrial turbines. Earlier he was President at the Package Power Services Division of the Wood Group, including TransCanada Turbines, where he was responsible for sales, parts, services and depot support. He earlier worked at Stewart & Stevenson Services as a business and sales leader at U.S. and international locations.
Chromalloy is a supplier of advanced repairs and services for gas turbines used in land-based, aviation and marine applications. The company repairs, refurbishes and manufactures turbine engine components.
