Chromalloy to exhibit at POWER-GEN International; expert featured
Chromalloy will be an exhibitor at the upcoming POWER-GEN International - the industry's largest annual gathering that gets under way December 8-10 at the Las Vegas Convention Center in Las Vegas, Nevada. More than 22,000 are registered to attend from 90 countries. More than 1,400 companies will exhibit.
Chromalloy will exhibit advanced services, solutions and materials for gas turbine engines in addition to 24/7 global field services, logistics and the Tiger® Monitoring & Diagnostic System. Attendees are invited to visit Chromalloy at Booth 4807.
Multiple conference tracks during POWER-GEN International will feature more than 200 top industry speakers in workshops, expert sessions and technical panels. Jon Aylett, BSc, Senior Diagnostics Systems Engineer at Turbine Services Ltd., a Chromalloy company, will present a paper on Gas Turbine Peaking Units - Problems and Solutions for Monitoring and Diagnostic Systems.
Aylett will be a featured speaker in the Gas Turbine Technologies II track scheduled from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday, December 8. Aylett and others will discuss performance and operational enhancements of gas turbines through increased combustion and compressor flexibility and advancements in digital monitoring.
POWER-GEN International opening keynote speakers include Joe Mastrangelo, President and CEO, Power Generation, GE; Steve Berberich, President and CEO, California ISO; and Steven Edwards, Chairman, President & CEO, Black & Veatch. POWER-GEN International will also offer a series of pre-conference workshops and technical tours. Participants can register for technical tours scheduled for Monday, December 7, to visit the nearby Hoover Dam, NRG Ivanpah Solar Generating Facility or Chuck Lenzie Generating Station.
