Chromalloy laboratories receive ISO/IEC 17025:2005 accreditation
The six laboratories at
Chromalloy’s Engineering Center of Excellence
at Palm Beach Gardens, Fla., received ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation, validating international standards requirements for testing services. “With ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation, Chromalloy builds on our world-class processes with the technical competence and ability to produce precise and accurate test data for customers around the globe,” said Carlo Luzzatto, President.
“Chromalloy provides the entire value chain of services for gas turbine components, from engineering and testing through casting, machining and advanced coatings,” Luzzatto said. The following labs were accredited to ISO/IEC 17025 by the ANSI-ASQ National Accreditation Board/ACLASS: Metallurgy, Modal, Fatigue, Airflow, Metrology and Optical Metrology.
ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation required evaluation by ACLASS technical assessors of the laboratories’ ability to produce accurate test data. Accredited labs are regularly reassessed to ensure the process standards and technical expertise are maintained.
Chromalloy’s Engineering Center of Excellence serves the company’s global network of turbine engine component repair and manufacturing centers, and provides engineering, test and lab services to customers worldwide.
