MRO Europe 2016 set to draw more than 5,000 participants

Expert forecasts, seminars and workshops will be presented during the 2016 Aviation Week MRO Europe gathering scheduled for October 18-20 at Amsterdam RAI Exhibition and Conference Centre in the Netherlands. The gathering is the largest in the region dedicated to the maintenance, repair and overhaul industry.

Chromalloy, a platinum-level sponsor of 2016 Aviation Week MRO Europe, will exhibit a full line of gas turbine engine repairs and services. Participants of MRO Europe are invited to visit Chromalloy in Booth 12-811.

MRO Europe will offer a three-day agenda of topics pertinent to the aviation maintenance industry. On opening day, industry experts Tom Cooper, VP, CAVOK, and Jonathan Berger, VP, ICF International, will present a market forecast and key trends of the MRO and aviation industries.

48th annual Airlift/Tanker Convention & Symposium tees up

Nashville, Tennessee, is set to host this year's Airlift/Tanker Convention and Symposium October 27-30 at the Gaylord Opryland Resort and Convention Center. Sponsored by the Airlift/Tanker Association, the convention and symposium will also feature the Air Mobility Technology Exposition and Air Mobility Command, designed to educate and inform membership.

Chromalloy will be an exhibitor at the Airlift/Tanker Convention & Symposium. Attendees are invited to visit Chromalloy at Booth 319.

The four-day convention and symposium will offer seminars, presentations and networking activities. Seminars will be offered on a wide range of subjects that address key issues of air mobility. Phil Lamb named Director of Quality - UK, Europe and Asia

Chromalloy has appointed Phil Lamb as Director of Quality for the UK, Europe and Asia. Lamb brings with him a strong operational manufacturing quality background that will help us attain the next level of quality performance.

Previously, he held senior quality, EHS and business improvement roles across industrial companies like Toyota, GKN and Bombardier. Most recently, Lamb served in senior management roles for Rolls Royce in their aero engine repair and overhaul business, including Project Quality Executive for the Trent 500 and 800 engine programs and Quality and HSE Leader for the Rolls Royce turbines organization. Lamb completed his education at Lancaster Royal Grammar School and also holds a Master's Degree in Total Quality Management and Business Excellence.

 
 

Logistics Officer Association Symposium

The Logistics Officer Association Symposium, the premier annual gathering for senior logistics leaders, industry officials and logistics operators, gets underway October 11-14 at the Gaylord National Resort and Convention Center in National Harbor. This year's theme, Leadership, Innovation, Velocity, Excellence (L.I.V.E.), will characterize this year's forum.

Lieutenant Colonel Sarah Marsh Read will kick off this year's Logistics Officer Association Symposium with a keynote presentation on October 11. The symposium will provide an opportunity for senior leaders and career-minded logisticians and logistic operators to collaborate, identify challenges and discuss real solutions to improve the logistic capabilities of today's U.S. Air Force. NBAA 2016 anticipates 27,000 at convention and exhibition

The premier annual NBAA (National Business Aviation Association) gathering will host approximately 27,000 attendees during the three-day convention and exhibition in Orlando, Florida from November 1-3. More than 1,100 exhibitors are registered. Approximately 100 of the newest business aircraft will be on static display.

NBAA, the world's largest business aviation gathering and the meeting place for aviation professionals from around the world, will host current and prospective aircraft owners, manufacturers and customers. A conference agenda of education sessions, expert workshops, training and career development seminars is scheduled.
