New joint venture - Chromalloy Arabia - is launched

Chromalloy has formed a joint venture with partner Arabian Qudra to provide the region's growing energy and aerospace sectors with life-cycle gas turbine engine solutions including component repair, new parts, field services, system upgrades and long term service agreements, in addition to the Tiger® Monitoring & Diagnostic System.

"Chromalloy Arabia leverages the innovations and advancements of two leading energy industry service providers Chromalloy and Arabian Qudra to meet the growing demands of the Middle East, North Africa and Turkey," said Chromalloy President Carlo Luzzatto, during POWER-GEN Middle East, the region's largest industry gathering.

"Chromalloy has provided services and materials to the region's industrial gas turbine engine operators for more than 10 years," Luzzatto said. "Now, joining forces with Arabian Qudra, we will offer a broad range of diverse energy services. The joint venture brings together Chromalloy's expertise in gas turbine engine technologies with the advancements and outstanding energy service legacy of Arabian Qudra."

Headquartered in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, and with a sales office in Dubai, UAE, Chromalloy Arabia will provide a full range of turbine technologies that include maintenance, support, parts and materials, and 24/7 field services on site at power generation stations, electric utilities, and onshore and offshore drilling platforms.

Based in Saudi Arabia, Arabian Qudra is a service provider for all electrical equipment in power and industrial plants in the oil, gas, petrochemicals and utilities sectors. The company has more than two decades of experience servicing industrial electrical equipment from its Riyadh-based service center.


MRO Europe 2015 set to draw more than 5,000 participants

Expert forecasts, seminars and workshops will be presented during the 2015 Aviation Week MRO Europe gathering scheduled for October 13-15 at ExCeL London, at the Royal Victoria Dock in London. The gathering is the largest in the region dedicated to the maintenance, repair and overhaul industry.

Chromalloy, a platinum-level sponsor of 2015 Aviation Week MRO Europe, will exhibit a full line of gas turbine engine repairs and services. Participants of MRO Europe are invited to visit Chromalloy in Booth 518.

MRO Europe will offer a three-day agenda of topics pertinent to the aviation maintenance industry. On opening day, industry experts Chris Doan, VP, CAVOK, and Richard Brown, Principal, ICF International, will present a 10-year market forecast and key trends. The Netherlands to host GE Frame 6B, 7E and 9E conference

Chromalloy is a sponsor of the GE Frame 6B, 7E & 9E User Conference 2015 being held October 13-16 in The Hague, The Netherlands. Hosted by the Dutch Gas Turbine Association (DGTA), the conference will draw participants from across Europe, Asia, Africa and the Middle East.

The GE Frame 6B, 7E and 9E conference will be staged at the Worldhotel Bel Air. Included are a series of panels and topics featuring industry experts. Participants will include engineers, rotating equipment/control specialists, and other professionals involved in the operation and maintenance of these gas turbine types. Chromalloy to exhibit at Logistics Officer Association Symposium

The Logistics Officer Association Symposium the premier annual gathering for senior logistics leaders, industry officials and logistics operators gets under way October 19-22 at the Hyatt Regency Crystal City in Arlington, Virginia. The theme Leadership, Innovation, Velocity, Excellence will characterize this year's forum.

Chromalloy will be an exhibitor at the symposium, showing a full range of gas turbine engine repairs and aftermarket services. Participants are invited to visit Chromalloy in Booth 319.

Brigadier General Becky Halstead (U.S. Army, Ret.) will kick off this year's Logistics Officer Association Symposium with a keynote presentation October 19. 47th annual Airlift/Tanker Convention & Symposium tees up

Orlando, Florida, is set to host this year's Airlift/Tanker Convention and Symposium October 29-November 1 at the Marriott World Center. Sponsored by the Airlift/Tanker Association, the convention and symposium will also feature the Air Mobility Technology Exposition and Air Mobility Command, designed to educate and inform membership.
