Guiliano appointed to lead new Asset Management Services SBU
Long-time aerospace industry leader Jim Guiliano was named to lead Chromalloy's new Asset Management Services SBU (Strategic Business Unit). Asset Management Services expands on the Chromalloy Material Solutions group with investment and growth in aircraft engine trading, exchange, overhaul, and sales, in addition to the company's parts trading operations.
Earlier Guiliano was the Executive Vice President of International Aero Engines (IAE), a role in which he led the company as the senior Pratt & Whitney executive. Prior to that, he held senior roles at Pratt & Whitney including VP, Global Customer Service & Service Programs and VP of Pratt & Whitney's $2B Global Engine Maintenance Center organization. He also led the large engine MRO Eagle Services Asia, a joint venture with Singapore Airlines and Turbine Overhaul Services, a Singapore Technologies Aerospace JV. He began his career as a U.S. Naval Officer. Guiliano holds a Bachelor of Science from the U.S. Naval Academy and an MBA from the Harvard Business School.
Chromalloy Asset Management Services encompasses a range of engines and aircraft families in production, recently out of production or identified for part-out. The SBU is based at the company's Fort Lauderdale, Florida trading, sales, and warehouse operations.
